SPENGA CREW Spotlight: Stacy G.
Check out our Rockstar instructor, Stacy!
Here is a little bit about her, be sure to say hi when you come to the studio for your next session!
What do you love about SPENGA?
One of the many things that I love about SPENGA is its inclusivity and positive energy. Whether or not I’m having a bad day, I’m always surrounded by some of the nicest people — both coworkers and members. The SPENGA format is also so welcoming to everyone who comes in. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or novice, we can meet you where you are at! I also love that it’s created with results and safety in mind, which is one of the main reasons I believe in it so much.
What is your favorite time to take a session?
My favorite time to take a session would be in the morning. I feel it gives me that extra boost I need to start my day and be productive. Plus the only thing getting in my way of me making a session is me not setting the alarm!
Favorite Format?
If I had to pick just one, I think my favorite would be EMOM! I love the receptiveness of the exercises for four rounds that gives us the ability to change timing and recruit different muscle fibers or add weight for a challenge ! And I love that each round the Elevate exercise always changes keeping us wondering “what’s next?” It’s my favorite way to both challenge myself and enjoy the workout!
What is your go to pre or post-workout snack?
My go-to pre-workout snack is definitely a small protein bar. Recently I have been loving the FroPro bars we have in studio — highly recommended trying it :) Post workout is always a peanut butter, banana protein shake!
We know you aren’t *supposed* to choose...but fess up. RIDE, REP, or REVIVE?!
Revive!!! It’s my favorite because so many people neglect the importance of yoga and often think it’s not athletic! I love showing them the SPENGA style of yoga and how athletic it can be!
What are you reading? Binge watching?
One of my goals is to definitely read more, and to get my 11 year old to read more so we have decided to read a book together called “Pipa Park Raises Her Game”. I’m also currently binge watching the final season of Stranger Things on Netflix.
Favorite song right now?
I don’t think I can name just 1 but I am really into Jack Johnson and Post Malone right now!
Favorite spot in Littleton?
Is SPENGA of course lol! Or any of the parks around! Littleton has some great ones!
Favorite Restaurant?
El Taqueliano! They have such a great variety of Mexican food yum!
What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is Reality TV! Ridiculous, I know"... but you name it I watch it!
